Club Membership

Important Directions for the 2012 Membership Form 

• Please print carefully. 
• Check off whether you are a new member or renewing member
• If you are a Renewing Member AND have competitive BCA number, fill in that number.
• You are also now asked to include your Citizenship
• Add any additional members who are likely to participate in club activities, such as walking or jogging. This is for Liability Insurance purposes.
• Make sure you sign the waiver.
• The annual Membership Fee is $30.00 for a single membership and $40.00 for family membership. Check one.
• Decide which BC Athletics membership type you want (minimum requirement is "Training").
• Multiply by the additional members if you have taken out a family membership.
• Club Executive also need to be an Associate member , unless you choose to be a Competitive Member.
• Tally up Total Fees.
• Make cheques payable to Semiahmoo Sunrunners.

Membership is done through AC Direct.  The club registrar has to enter data directly to AC Direct. When you become a member of the Sunrunners you are automatically a member of Athletics Canada. Five dollars of your membership fee to BC Athletics goes to Athletics Canada.   

          
Membership is open to runners of all levels.  Membership fees help us to hold a number of functions throughout the year and to help keep  you informed about club activities.

If you want to join the club, or are a club member that wants to renew their membership, download and print the Membership Form and follow the (very simple) directions that come with it.

N.B. Please note the change in fees and " Types " of  membership for 2012. The Training affiliate fee which most of us apply for is now $ 16.80 ( $ 15.00 + HST) . There is no Adult Rec type. It has been changed to Road and Trail and the fee is $ 44.80. Also Masters fee is now $ 44.80. These changes were approved at the BC Athletics AGM .
