Bill Bowness Crescent Park X-Country Race

September 30, 2017

Registration 8:00am – 8:30am

Crescent Park, South Surrey

This year marks the 20th running of the Bill Bowness CPXC race in South Surrey hosted by the Semiahmoo Sunrunners. The 7.5 km race occurs in beautiful Crescent Park along the more travelled inner path and the slightly more technical outer trail. The Bill Bowness CPXC is part of the Lower Mainland Cross Country Series and has continued to be an integral part of the series since 1998.

In 2001 the race was dedicated to the memory of Bill Bowness who was a keen cross country runner and loved running with his dog in Crescent Park. Bill passed away in 2000 after a short battle with cancer.
